Student Ministry

Student Ministry

Our Student Ministry encompasses both Middle and High School (6th – 12th Grades) and they meet Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. The youth room is located in our main building, right outside the Sanctuary.

Wednesday nights consist of fun aspects (games, music, hang-out time in the gym), as well as a relevant Bible study that is. In some series, students will go through books of the Bible week by week, but there will also be topical series occasionally. We love to use this time for students to grow into a deeper understanding of their faith or to meet Jesus personally for the very first time! At the end of the night, the group will go over to the gym to shoot basketball, play games, and hang out for a bit before heading home.

Throughout the year, we provide multiple opportunities for our teenagers to grow (summer camps, winter retreats, etc) and to serve (mission trips, Vacation Bible School, etc). We want to equip our students to LEARN about Jesus, and then to SHARE Him with their friends.

Student Ministry Schedule:

Spring Students Worship -Wednesday 6:30pm

A liability release MUST be completed to attend any off-campus church functions. The form is valid for the remainder of the 2024 calendar year. A separate form will need to be completed for each individual participating. (ie - you cannot combine multiple children on one form.)

Ski Retreat 2022

In December, we took a group of about 30 to Maggie Valley, NC to ski and snow tube. The theme of the trip was to learn about how to know God's will.

SummerSalt 2022

In June, Double Springs Student Ministry attended SummerSalt with a group of about 30 students and leaders. We had the BEST time, and God worked in the lives of so many people (adults included) during our time there.

2021 Recap

2021 was a year to remember! Our youth grew so much, both in number and in their walks with the Lord. We can't wait to see how God uses them in 2022!
