Children

Double Springs Baptist Church is a church that loves our children! It's our desire that we provide a fun and loving place for kids to come and learn about Jesus, and that we also empower and encourage parents to fulfill their most important role as their child's primary teacher!

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

Sundays at Double Springs

Sunday School – 9:30

From Nursery – 5th grade, we have Sunday School classes for children of all ages!  Come and find your place to learn and grow!

Tiny Blessings: Birth – Age 2
Nursery is located in the main building, downstairs.

Wee Worshippers: Ages 3 – 5
Preschool area is located in the main building, downstairs, beside the nursery.

Treehouse: K5 – 5th Grade
Treehouse is located in the main building, upstairs, outside the entrance to the sanctuary.

Sunday Worship – 10:30

We invite our kids to join their parents during the first part of our worship service upstairs.  While parents participate in Corporate worship, we realize that our youngest friends need a place geared specifically towards them where they can also worship!  So, after the first few songs, kids are dismissed to their age-appropriate classes and will follow the children’s leaders to their class.  And no worries – if your children are more comfortable staying in the worship service with you, they are more than welcome to!

Wednesdays at Double Springs

Our Wednesday night program is from 6:30 – 7:45 each Wednesday during the school year. Kids are checked-in in the Family Life Center.  Parents will then walk our Cubbies over to the Preschool area.  K5-5th grade will remain in the Family Life Center.

Preschool: Ages 3 – 5 years old
Elementary 1: K5 – 2nd grades
Elementary 2: 3rd – 5th grades

Our Wednesday night program is fun and interactive! We work on scripture memorization, play games, and have a small snack. This school year, our children will be going through short studies that teach biblical principles in a practical and relatable way. Each series typically relates to the season at hand.
